Patanjali Amla Candy Review
Baba Ramdev is a swami and celebrity in India. A good orator, has the capacity to drive the
mob crazy and follow him. He has given various products to the Indian market. One
such amazing product is a pot of Amla candies. Patanjali Amla Candy is a
product made of gooseberries.
The other day I just did a post on the recipe of
Gooseberry raita. If you have missed it, follow the link of the recipe here.
Gooseberries and their importance in human life
need no discussion. It is a well known fact that gooseberries can be consumed
daily and they help in every other problem of the body.
Biting a raw gooseberry can be a little difficult
to taste buds. They have those kicking up like taste. Patanjali Amla/Gooseberry
Candy is the best idea for daily consumption. One piece of candy tempts for the other, and then
one more, and more. Baaah ! It is difficult to stop.
Here
are few interesting things about Patanjali Amla Candy:
- It is a soft chewable candy. The softness is in between the softness of a chewable gum and a jelly.
- The amla pieces are dipped in sweet syrup.
- It is completely sweet in taste.
- The citrusy taste of gooseberries cannot be identified at all.
- The cadies are easily broken with hands.
- Costs Rs.130 for 500 g pack.
- The candy comes in a plastic container that is pot shaped. It has a air tight screw lid.
- Package suggests to refrigerate the contents after the seal has been broken.
- MADE IN BHARAT. :-)
Have you tried Patanjali Amla Candy? What do you feel about these candies.
