Butter Masala Potato Wedge Recipe

Potatoes are always yummy. We had shared a recipe of easy
potato wedge recipe, potato yogurt recipe, fried potato recipe and many more.
To add to the list, here is another spicy masala recipe of
potato that involves pan frying with homemade butter.
Enjoy the taste.
Potato, 2 medium sized cut into wedges.
Finely chopped onion, half cup
Chopped coriander leaves
Curry leaves, 8-10
Chopped garlic, 3-4 garlic
Coriander powder (Dhania powder) 2 spoon
Cumin powder (Jeera powder) 1 spoon
Turmeric powder (1/4th tea spoon)
Cumin seeds (1/4th tea spoon)
Red Chilli powder (1/2 tea spoon)
Garam Masala (1 tea spoon)
Butter
Half lemon
And tomato ketchup for dip.
Butter Masala Potato
Wedge Recipe:
Blanch the potato slices in salted water. Once done, drain
the water.
Now heat a pan and add butter. Once, the butter is hot add cumin
(jeera) seeds, turmeric powder and coriander leaves. Saute for half minute.
Now, add garlic pieces and sauté again until the rawness of
the garlic vanishes.
Add the blanched potato wedges and simmer the flame. Allow
it to heat for a while.
Add more butter if needed.
Now, add coriander powder and cumin powder to the pan.
Also add red chilli powder, garam masala and if required
little salt. Mix well.
Heat until the potato wedges attains the desired crispness
from the outer side.
Once the potatoes are done, add the chopped onion and
coriander leaves. Mix well and transfer into a bowl.
Sprinkle lemon juice and serve with tomato ketchup.
You can also sprinkle pepper powder if you wish to.
