Calvin Klein Delicious Luxury Creme Lipstick Henna Review & Swatches

Lips and eyes are where we start our makeup journey with. I was so. And I am still stuck with lipsticks and few eye makeup products.

Today is a lipstick from Calvin Klein. I believe these are not available in India as of now. I had got this as a gift. See the post here for 3 of the darker shades. I got couple more later on.

Price: I saw some where that these lipsticks costs $17

Package: It is sleek bullet tube of black color. The name of the shade is printed on the tube.

Shade: The shade I am showing now is Henna. A pale pink type of color. It looks really great on very fair skin. On most of the Indian skin it might look a little dull. If you are really-really fair, then you are sure to rock the Henna lipstick.

I use this with combination of some darker colors.

Nature: These Calvin Klein lipsticks are very really creamy and thick. So, they definitely don’t bleed out of the lips. They are not drying on the lips either. Though creamy it does not settle in teh fine lines of the lips.

The staying power is not bad. It easily stays on me for 4 hours even in this hot summer. 

Apart from the ‘not so suitable shade for Indian skin’ problem of Henna, I have absolutely no complaint about this lipstick. There are a number of different shades you can pick from this range.

• Creamy texture.
• Thick soft lipstick, thus no bleeding.
• Good staying power.
• Does not dry the lips.
• Does not settle into the fine lines of the lips.
• The range has many different shades to try.

Cons of Calvin Klein Delicious Luxury Creme Lipstick Henna:

• Henna is suitable for light pale skin tone.
• Calvin Klein lipsticks are not available in India.

Recommendation: Yes, if you have somebody overseas who can easily get hold of these lipsticks, I recommend you to ask them to buy for you. You will really enjoy these lipsticks.
