With a trip to London during the
holiday season, it seems to be a perfect entertainment and thrill to wind up
this year of 2013. There are quite a few things to do when you visit London
during winter.
Here are the best of the few
things to do when on a Christmas Holiday in London.
Ice Skating:
Ice Skating is one of the
favourite games of winter in London. Spins on the ice rinks will help you keep
yourself warm. Ice rinks are set up around the city at famous land marks of the
city. To name a few are Natural History Museum Ice Rink, Somerset House Ice
Rink, Canary Wharf Ice Rink, Hampton Court Palace Ice Rink, the Tower of London
Ice Rink, Winter Wonderland Ice Rink at Hyde Park, Eyeskate at the London Eye.

Thames River City Cruise:
Enjoying the sights across the
River Thames on the cruise. You could also have a relaxing dinner on the

Go to Winter Wonderland:
Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park is
the staple entertainment in London during Christmas. The park hosts 100s of
stalls, Christmas market, amusement rides for all – kids, adults and family,
Giant Wheel which gives spectacular views of the city, wine and food stalls.
The entry to the Winter Wonderland is free, but the rides and other amusements
are charged few pounds. There is also a ice rink set up for spinning around.

London Christmas Markets are the
best to pick up Christmas gifts, Christmas decorative, jewellery, crafts and
toys. The markets are more or less like flea markets set up on certain streets and parks especially during the festive
season.

Christmas markets are Southbank Centre Christmas Market, Winter Wonderland Hyde
Park, Berwick Street Christmas Market.

See Christmas Tree at Trafalgar
Square:
Trafalgar Square is the prime
land mark of London. This square holds one of the tallest Christmas Tree throughout
the month of December. This is a tree gifted to England from Norway, the
tradition has been in practice since the time after Second World War. The decoration
too are done as per the Norway traditions. You can also enjoy the nightly carol
singing at the square.
This square also holds a multi
coloured fountain which is captured by thousands of tourist visiting London.

There are some more attractions too
like watching The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre, world famous singers
classical concerts, taking a dip in the Serpentine at Hyde Park is the festive
tradition (even though the temperature is sub-zero).

you can do when you visit the city of London during Christmas. Tour to London is
totally different from Christmas in London experience.
