I am searching for the matte products these days. I am happy with Matte MAC velvet Teddy lipstick and also the Maybelline Matte compact. So next comes the Matte foundation in my pool, I shopped this Lotus Herbals Matte Foundation Fresh Ivory shade.

This oil-free, water-based foundation is natural, safe and has a light feel. It gives a matte look by completely concealing imperfections in the skin. Additionally it also provides an SPF – 20 protection from the sun. Pure Radiance™ is available in two shades, Light Reflection and the normal one. Pure Radiance™ Light Reflection makes the skin look clearer and gives it a shimmery glow.

My Experience with Lotus Herbals Pure Radiance Matte Glow Daily Foundation SPF – 20:

Package: A thin flat almost transparent plastic tube with the golden coloured screwing cap. The bottle reflects the matte foundation liquid from within. It has a short tube like opening for the neat flow.

Nature: The liquid is watery and runny. A droplet is sufficient for blending your entire face. I was so happy when I applied it for the first time, it perfectly matched my skin giving a perfect matte look. I used it along with the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. They both give a great combination :).

Usually the foundations makes you appear as though your skin has been painted and you can feel a layer over your skin. This is the major advantage of this product, very light weighted and exactly suits the Indian skin tones. My skin remained intact till the end of the day, no oily deposits, and no breakouts. Even after the foundation has been lightened your skin does not appear dull as it leaves a tint of it.
