Deepawali is about to come, but the feel of Navaratri has
not yet vanished from Mysore.
The world famous Mysore Dasara that is closely associated
with the Royal family of Wodeyars is witnessed with great joy and devotion by
millions of people.
There are so many events that happen across the city of
Mysore. What to see and what is not to be missed? This excitement in the air
leaves the tourists, visitors, locals, natives baffled and the entire city sees
scores of people flocking in.
Flower Show is a great event organized by the horticulture
department of the state. Usually held at Kuppanna Park, it is a visual treat.
The floral and veggie decoration is so innovative and it is believed that the
department puts in many months of efforts for the arrangement that lasts for 10
days of festival.

Stone Chariot of Hampi is made from about 1.5 lakh roses.
This was the main attraction of the 2015 flower show.
Capsicum peacock and peahen are very creatively made. Another
major attraction was Dr. Kalam and two children along with him made out of
wheat noodles.
