The skin and hair care
products of all the brands are usually packed either in tubs or bottles in a
liquid form. But when it comes to Lush, the packing and the state in which the
Lush products are available are simply unbelievable. The solid hand and massage cream, porridgesoap, solid scrub, solid conditioner and many more.
Here is a Lush toner available in a tablet form.

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate , Citric Acid , Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca
alternifolia) , Aloe Vera Powder (Aloe
barbadensis) , Chlorophyllin
How to Use Lush Tea Tree Toner Tab:
This is the main part. Lush Toner is not just dipping in cotton balls or spraying to your skin like other
liquid skin toner’s. The usage is quite
different.
You require a clean bowl,
hot water, clean soft towel and one Lush tea tree toner tab.
Steps:
- Take a clean bowl and add hot water to it.
- Now drop the tea tree tab to the bowl. The tab starts to fizz.
- Immediately cover your face with a clean towel. Cover the bowl too so that the aromatic air does not pass away easily.
- Allow your skin to breathe all the air released from the tea tree tab. Open out
when the tab completely dissolves and stops to fizz.
Lush claims to reuse the
water by storing in a bottle for 2 days by refrigerating. You can spray the same like the liquid skin
toner.
My experience with Lush Tea
Tree Toner Tab:
The coin shaped tab is
light greenish with a letter ‘T’ sketched in it. The tab is powdery to touch. I
used a stainless steel vessel to pour the boiling water as the fibrous container
melts with hot water. To this container dropped the tab which immediately starts
to fizz and dissolve. I covered a clean towel and let all the steam to pass
over my skin and neck. Remember to cover
your head and container completely as the air does not sink out. Try not to open your eyes as they will burn.
The tab gets dissolved with 2 minutes, but you can allow the skin to breathe for about 10 minutes. After the steam has cooled down, open up the towel and wash out with normal water.

The skin results clean
and fresh with opened pores releasing dirt. The toner is mild and does not dry.
I did not moisturize for long as my skin did not result drying. The aromatic
tea tree scent stays in your skin giving you a spa massage experience. Also my
skin was so soft I loved to touch it now and then.
This is a perfect facial
steamer. You can even carry this tab steaming when you are treating a home
facial. Or make a practice to steam at
night after heavy makeup or outings.
I stored the steamed
water in a clean bottle and used it with damp cotton as a toner for 2 days.
Pros of Lush Tea Tree Toner Tab:
- Makes skin
clear opening up pores.
- Mild product
resulting in baby soft skin.
- Aromatic tea
tree scent like a spa therapy.
- Makes your
skin relaxed and cool.
- No fear of
drying.
- Can be
stored and reused.
Cons of Lush Tea Tree Toner Tab:
None
As you know, we are unlucky to miss out Lush in India. You have to shop overseas from your family
and friends or online. Make a point to purchase a handful of tablets whenever you do.
