Calvin Klein Lipstick Eros 142 Review and Swatches

Package: Black lip case with square ends. Lip cases of all shades as I have mentioned in earlier posts feels to be of poor quality. It tends to break when slipped to floor. Another major drawback is, this happened only in the Eros shade. The lipstick when rolled out for use it forms the dent. This is the most irritating part , you can find the creamy deposits in the outer rings of the lip case.

Look at the picture here of dent formation. You could find this drawback in lipsticks of decades ago.

Colour: A bright coral colour with orange touches in it. The colour has no glitters or shines but it’s not matte too. A pigmented colour which shows up lightened up in your face. I usually hate heavy dark shades where Eros comes to this category. The colour is so bright that it hardly fades or the fading goes unnoticed.

Nature: Creamy and moisturising, stays well on lips. It does not form thick deposits nor dries your lips. The lipstick is not too heavy and feels pleasant to apply. You have no fear of fading and reapplying as the strong colour never fades even after your meals.

There is nothing to blame much in this shade except for the dent. Colour depends on the individual’s choice. Some class of people entertain dark bright colours. In fact this colour suits very well on western outfits or at least on some occasions.

But this shade is out of my wish box as I run a mile away from dark colours. Light soft shades are my all time favorites.

Fragrance: It has a cosmetic scent.
