No one needs an introduction to Kama Ayurveda Brand. In
short, it is an Indian origin brand which holds responsibility in producing
pure organic products. Along with range
of natural beauty products they even serve the massage and spa services where
the customer is blessed with Kama ayurveda natural essential oils.
Of the two, please note that Tulsi Soap is a new launch by Kama Ayurveda.
Product will exclusively be available online from 21st August to 31st
August on the website (www.kamaayurveda.com)
as a part of online promotion and will be available across all
stores from 1 Sept onwards.
Here goes my honest review on the natural herbal Kama Ayurveda Tulsi Soap.
Price: Rs 450 for 120g
Ingredients:
Claims:
Package: It is packed in a paper box with claims and
ingredients listed. Within is another light paper covering which holds the soap
entirely. I found the pack very descent and hygiene.
Appearance: The soap is dark green resembling the shade
of holy basil and the soap cake is almost a square with perfect cut edges.
Nature: This is the interesting part of the review. Calling
the product just as “soap” is a great mistake; it should always be termed as a “handmade
natural soap”. Again let me repeat the mistake, the soap slides very smoothly over skin and has
neat surface. It foams instantly with few drops of water and you can make out
the essential oils releasing.
As a bathing soap it cleanses skin, rinsed away easily and drives body odour making you fresh on the start of the day. My skin stayed soft and moisturised without the need of any after shower lotions. Since it is handmade, it melts at a faster rate compared to other bathing soaps. So to be economical better keep it dry after usage.
Even though the brand claims the soap to enhance
beauty, I feel it is also a medicated soap curing skin allergies. Also I assure
regular usage results in a healthy skin complexion curing acne.
Scent: It has an herbal scent resembling ayurvedic
products and lingers on your skin for long. Sensitive ones may find them
strong, but we have to keep in mind as there are no artificial fragrances added,
it smells of the pure herb.
The mild nature, texture and the scent proves the ingredients
are organic and free from chemicals. Now about the cost, Rs 450 for bathing
soap may be expensive but anything in its purest form is not easily available.
Pros of Kama Ayurveda Handmade Tulsi Soap:
- Organic handmade soap
- Free from chemicals
- No skin allergies and
irritations.
- Treats all skin
imperfections.
- Worth its price.
- As for now it is available
online, and from 1st September it is sold in market.
I really did not find any cons to be listed. About its strong
scent, it is not a cons, it is a property of all ayurvedic products.
Rating: 5/5
Recommendation: I recommend
this wonderful product from the brand for all skin types and climates.
