Rain rain go away;
Come again another day;
Little Johnny wants to play;
Rain rain go to Spain;
Never show your face again!

Surprised?? Why this lady is acting kiddish? Reciting nursery rhymes? Rain in Bangalore is making me remind these rhymes :).
How will a cool rainy evening be with a crispy spicy vada and a hot cup of coffee?
But here you have no chance to step out for a drive at evenings.
No evening walk, No chat centres, No shopping malls , No to outings because of heavy rain.
So I decided to try my own spice this
weekend , simple easy Rave vada.
All you require is
- 1 cup Rave
- Half cup curd
- Half spoon butter
- 3 to 4 spoons of grated coconut
- Green chillies
- Ginger
- Asafoetida
- Curry leaves, coriander leaves
- Refined oil.
- Salt for taste.
Recipe:
- Take vessel and add rave, green chilli, ginger, Asafoetida , curry leaves, coriander leaves, butter, coconut grates, salt and curds. Mix them all together and make a thick dough. Keep this for half an hour.
- Now take a kadai and heat oil in low flame.
- Water your hands and make small flat piece of dough and leave into oil for deep fry.
- Let them fry till golden brown.
- Serve hot with a cup of coffee.
This was my weekend special which brought happy smiles to my happy family.
