Arrival of winter means, Christmas and New Year celebrations are just round the corner. Most schools shut for a brief period of time during winter and allow us to be cosily lazy at home.

To give some work to our brain and spend time together, we tried few craft ideas for kids at home.

The simple ideas are easy to be carried out and here are quick steps to make the crafts.

Christmas tree

This is a beautiful ornamental craft for pre-schoolers and school kids.

All you have to do is craft paper rolling, pinning, and also cutting and pasting to bring out a shape that represents Christmas tree.

Button tree

This is a decorative craft work. If you have a collection of few left over buttons, then put it to use. Draw a tree with suitable back ground and make swirls and allow spaces to stick buttons.

Make Santa Clause with Paper

Paper crafts are the best way to kill long winter evenings. And these handmade crafts are just perfect to use as decorates during Christmas celebrations.

Step by step folding of the paper has been shared along with the images of the craft. Create body and head separately, glue them together. 

Finish off with the pair of googly eyes for Santa.
