Its long after we celebrated Diwali but the festive feeling still remains. I simply do not want to wind the festival memories and excitements. Here is one more article on Diwali .

The festival of lamps lightens up creative ideas on how best we can decorate our house lightening and colourful.  Although varieties of decorative collections are available in the market, you will enjoy making your own handicraft items. 

Here is a simple DIY project on Diwali lamps as easy as a kids play.

Required Items:

Earthen Lamp

Compact disc (CD)

Colourful kundan or stones

Glue

How to make creative Diwali lamp?

• Take an old waste compact disc (CD).  

• To the main printable section of the CD, stick tiny kundan in decorative fashion like flowers, stars or circle.

• Keep aside till the kundan is dried. 

• Colour the earthen lamp with any of your favourite color and let it dry.

• stick the earthen lamp at the centre of the compact disc.

• Glow the lamp once they are completely dried. The light gets reflected to the CD part and shines like sparklers.

Decorative Diwali lamps are ready.  Is it not an easy job? Even your kid can make this art and amaze your guests.
