There comes many occasions in a year for us to dress up in
the traditional ethnic way. Anarkali suits, lehenga cholis, half saree, silk or
designer fancy saree; we have so many choices to pick and style ourselves.
There are numerous adorable designs in ethnic clothing for
kids also. Stores stock up beautiful ghagra cholis, lehengas, net long gowns in
variety if designs.
You can either buy online or at the nearby stores. There is
also another idea to make your little princess look very special on the occasion.
Custom design the idea you have secretly dreamt of for child.
All you will need is some creativity and put your idea into
paper work. Collect the bare minimum materials for lehenga and blouse.
If you know to use the sewing machine and have expertise in stitching,
then your job is even easier.
Else, catch hold of your local tailor and help him understand
your design. It is simple.
Below is one of the simplest ideas of designing a South
Indian traditional pattu langa for little girls.
Pattu langa are usually designed in silk with golden zari
border and also include fancy embroideries.
For the Langa,
A v-shaped broad belt that holds the pleats wide enough is a
unique idea. The langa flares out and stands wide apart giving a beautiful
look.
The decorative materials
come handy. You can attach hangings, pearls, or strings of chain to
make the v-shaped skirt belt look attractive.
For the Blouse,
Plan to attach the zari borders wherever needed. Also include
an adjustable thread at the back which will help the blouse to fit according to
body type and size.
