Insulin Plant - Nature's Cure For Diabetes

Insulin Plant is scientifically known as Costus Igneus is known to be an effective medicine for controlling blood sugar levels naturally. The plant is widely grown in India especially in the coastal area of Karnataka where it is commonly called as Insulin plant. Strange but true, in ayurvedic science if you are at the initial stages of diabetes chewing these leaves once a day controls it.

How To Grow?

The plant is friendly and requires very little care. It requires enough sunlight and moisture. This is the reason why it grows easily in the coastal areas as they have abundant sunlight and moisture levels.

Features:

The plant grows about 2 feet from the ground with 4 to 6 inches leaves. The leaves are dark green arranged spirally in the main stalk.

The leaves are a rich source of protein, iron, and antioxidants the combination of natural insulin lowers the blood sugar levels of an individual. 

The leaves are sour to taste and can be easily chewed.

If you are in the initial levels of diabetes chewing these leaves regularly along with food control gives the best results.
