Kedem Cosmetics, basically are a range of skin care products which are made from dead sea minerals. They claim to include active and natural ingredients in their products, all products are paraben free and are not tested on animals.

They are largely available in US and recently entered the European countries too.

Sadly these products are not available in India. So, if you want to try their products you should pay a hefty amount for shipping across the international borders or find a relative/friend from US or UK travelling back to India who can get these tubs and tubes.

My experience about Kedem Salt Scrub Vanilla:

Nature: The texture is a little gritty. But if you handle it carefully it will easily polish your body skin. The gritty salt scrub is not suitable for facial scrub, this is very important to be noted. It might get abrasive on your face.

The scrub particles are bounds together with an oily base. Yes! If you have oil to normal skin then this body scrub is not for you. It will leave you sticky.

Dry and very dry skin people can enjoy this product to the maximum extent, especially during winter.

Fragrance: The aroma is great. It smells of Vanilla in its purest form and also a little coconut. Without the fragrance no skin care products can be enjoyed.

Packaging: A transparent plastic tub of 500 g (Yes! that makes it a heavy jar). A golden colored screw lid. The jar has a wide open mouth and needs a spoon to scoop out the scrub.

Make sure to use a dry spoon every time.

How to use: A teaspoon full if salt scrub is sufficient for the whole body. If you are just scrubbing your hands, then just a pinch of this scrub is needed.

According to the experts, use the scrub on the dry skin. Press your index and middle finger together on the salt scrub taken in a bowl. Now gently rub the skin with the tiny amount of salt scrub that came along with your fingers. Wash with mild warm water. No soap, no shower gel, show bath foam, only the salt scrub and water.

This will leave your skin moisturized and polished. Since the scrub already has naturally moisturizing oils, no body lotion is needed after bath.

I have also tried this scrub on wet skin. It works well too. In fact, it spreads and exfoliates easily on wet skin.

The jar has lots of product. And each time you only need a small amount of it in a spoon. So, the jar will easily last for about 1.5 or 2 years even if used daily.

Every feature of the Kedem Salt Scrub Vanilla gives you a feel of the luxurious skin care. Although this comes with a heavy price, it can be tried to experience the aromatic and pampered bath.

Their Salt Scrub also comes two other variants; Kiwi & Mango, Peach & Honey.
