Mysore Dasara 2019 Lighting - Brighter Than Ever

The on-going Dasara celebrations have made Mysore City brighter than ever. The entire city is decked as a bride is beautiful colourful lighting arrangements.

It is not just the palace that flaunts the brightly colored light bulbs, but also every road in the city, city squares and circles that leads to the palace, several parks, public service offices-buildings-hospitals, historical monuments, heritage buildings, palaces, ancient temples, shops; the sparkling light can be seen everywhere.

This year 2019, have been extremely bright - like never before. The outskirts of the city has been covered in decorations of lights too.

Here is a pictorial tour of the highlights of the light arrangements across the Mysore city.

The green pandal on Sayyaji Rao Road is set every year with lot of lights décor to welcome the tourists who arrive in the city in large numbers during this time of the year. 

Every year it holds the same amount of impressiveness, this year is no different.

While glass house at Kuppanna Park was a new attraction last Dasara (2018), the Hinkal flyover is the new attraction this year (2019). The flyover road has been decked with colourful light strips.
