Carrot and Poppy Seeds Pudding
Carrots and poppy seeds, the combination makes today’s
special pudding. Both carrot and poppy seeds are very good for health. So,
today’s preparation of pudding is considered a healthy drink.
- 3-4 medium sized carrots
- 1 cup poppy seeds.
- Cashew pieces.
- Sugar,
- 2 cups milk.
- 2 spoon cardamom powder.
Recipe:
Peel, chop and boil carrot.
Fry poppy seeds in some ghee.
Also fry cashew pieces in ghee.
Now put all boiled carrot, fried poppy seeds and cashew
pieces into a blender. Add some milk and blend well to form a fine paste.
Transfer this blended paste in to a container. Add some more
milk or water to thin down the paste, and heat on low flame for 5 minutes.
While heating, add cardamom powder and sugar.
Serve hot or cold, depends on your taste.
The healthy drink is ready to be gulped. :-)
