Wheatgrass has varied versions of claims, suggestions and
opinions when it comes to health benefits and disease preventing.
Although there are no evidences provided by research
studies, it is praised and hyped by many proponents about its health claims.
Generally wheatgrass is considered safe. The freshly
squeezed raw juice shot is the common form of consumption. If you have grass
allergy, gluten intolerance, or any other medical conditions; then it is always
a better choice to consult your physician.
Wheatgrass is grown on soil and water and since it is
consumed raw, there are chances of the grass being contaminated by bacteria or
mold. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use wheatgrass.
